Terms of service
Last updated: 2026-11-01 (draft)
The short version
PraiseLoop helps you turn your business's customer reviews into draft social posts. You approve every post, and nothing is published without you. These terms are the agreement between you and us. Please read them, and our privacy policy, before you use the service.
Who we are
These terms are an agreement between you and Stephen Davis, operating as PraiseLoop in Ontario, Canada. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Stephen Davis, operating as PraiseLoop.
Questions about these terms? Email hello@praiseloop.ca.
Who may use PraiseLoop
- You must be a business owner or manager, and you must have the authority to act for the business you set up.
- You must be at least the age of majority where you live and able to enter into a contract.
- You must be allowed to use the reviews you import. See "Your responsibilities" below.
- PraiseLoop is a pilot. Features can change, and some are not available yet.
Your account and sign-in
- Give us accurate information and keep it up to date.
- Keep one account for your business. Do not create accounts to get around limits.
- Keep your sign-in method and devices secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access.
- You can sign in with Google, Apple, Microsoft or an email code. We do not store passwords. Your use of those providers is also governed by their terms.
- You can link more than one sign-in method, but you cannot remove your last one.
What the service does
PraiseLoop imports the reviews you provide, picks quotes, writes captions, renders branded quote-card images, and puts drafts in a weekly queue for you to review on the web or in the phone app. It can send you a notification when a week's drafts are ready.
You can edit a caption, approve a post, archive it, or mark it as shared after you post it yourself through your phone's share sheet. The app records a shared post as something you reported, not as a verified publication.
Nothing is posted automatically. You decide whether and where to post. Automatic scheduling through Buffer is not available yet. Google review sync is not available yet. Features that are marked as planned are not part of the service until we make them available.
Your responsibilities
- You must have the right to use every review you import, including any customer name or personal detail in it. If a review comes from a platform with attribution or reuse rules, follow them.
- Review the business details, quote, caption and image before you approve. Check that the quote is accurate and not misleading. Do not present an edited quote as a customer's exact words.
- Follow the terms of Instagram, Facebook, Google, Buffer and any other service you use with PraiseLoop.
- Do not import personal information you are not allowed to use.
- Follow the law, including privacy and advertising law, when you publish.
Acceptable use
Do not use PraiseLoop to:
- break the law, infringe someone's rights, or publish hateful, harassing, deceptive or harmful content;
- upload malware, or try to gain access to another owner's account, data or images;
- probe, scan or overload the service, or work around its limits, rate limits or access controls;
- scrape or bulk-collect reviews or other data from a platform in breach of that platform's terms;
- resell the service, or copy it to offer a competing service.
We may remove content or suspend an account that breaks these rules.
AI-generated content
Captions and brand-voice profiles are written by an AI model. They can be wrong, incomplete, bland or similar to text someone else has. The images are drafts too.
You are responsible for what you approve and publish. Check every caption and image before you approve it. Do not rely on AI output for facts, claims or legal statements. AI review replies are a planned Pro feature and are not available.
Plans and limits
- PraiseLoop has a free plan and a paid plan called Pro. The limits differ, for example in posts per week, templates, watermarking and the number of businesses. The current limits are shown in the app and on our plans page, and they are enforced by the server.
- Some features listed for Pro are planned and not available yet. We will not treat them as included until they work.
- We may change plans and limits. We will show the current limits in the app.
- Payments are not live. We do not take payment today, and this page states no prices. When paid plans become available, we will show the price, currency, billing period, renewal and cancellation terms before you buy.
- If you later buy a subscription through the App Store or Google Play, that purchase is between you and the store. Deleting your PraiseLoop account does not cancel it; cancel it in the store.
Third-party services
PraiseLoop uses services run by other companies for sign-in, email delivery, AI processing, push notifications and, in future, posting through Buffer. You may publish to Instagram, Facebook or another social network yourself, and those services have their own terms.
Those services are not ours. They may change, have outages, or stop working with us. We are not responsible for their acts or omissions, and we do not promise that they will accept a post. If you connect Buffer, you also agree to Buffer's terms.
Your content and our software
You keep your content: your business details, your logo and the reviews you import. You give us permission to store, process, copy and display that content as needed to run the service, including sending the fields described in the privacy policy to our service providers.
We own the PraiseLoop software, design, templates, name and brand. You may not copy, resell or reverse engineer them, except as the law allows.
We do not claim ownership of the captions and images we generate for your business. You may use them for your business.
Ending your account or our service
- You can delete your account at any time in the web app or the phone app, or by emailing hello@praiseloop.ca. Deletion works as described in the privacy policy.
- We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if your use harms the service or another person, if we must for legal reasons, or if we stop offering the service. Where we can, we will tell you first.
- We may also stop offering the service, in whole or in part. If we do, we will give reasonable notice where we can.
The pilot, and the state of the service
PraiseLoop is a pilot. The service is provided "as is" and "as available". The pilot app runs on a server the operator controls, so it can be interrupted by power, internet or maintenance. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service.
To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties beyond what the law requires, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement. We do not promise that a social network will accept or keep a post, or that the service will produce any particular result.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill or opportunities, arising from your use of PraiseLoop or your inability to use it.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for all claims relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and CAD $100.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for fraud or gross negligence.
Governing law
The laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply in Ontario govern these terms. You and we agree to the courts of Ontario for any dispute, unless the law requires otherwise.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top. For material changes, we will email the address on your account before the change takes effect. If you keep using PraiseLoop after a change, the new terms apply. If you do not agree, stop using the service and delete your account.
